Q: Are all carpets treated with stain resistance?
A: Most carpets have some form of stain resistance. There are many branded treatments like stain master and wear dated, as well as some stain resistance built right into the carpet fiber. Our professional consultants can help you choose the right carpet for your needs, but be sure you obtain and follow the care instructions for whatever carpet you buy.

Q: How quickly can my carpet be installed?
A: If you select an in stock product we can usually install within 2 days, many times next day installation is available. (No, we do not charge extra for this) If the product is special order from the mill we usually average between 5 and 10 business days depending on whether the carpet has been produced at the mill.

Q: Do you have carpet wider than 12ft?
A: Yes, many carpets are available in 13ft6”, and 15ft widths, special order only.

Q: What Carpet wears the best?
A: Multiple factors influence how a carpet performs – style, color, fiber, pad, traffic and construction are all a factor. Let one of our sales consultants know what your household environment is like and what your expectations are and we will point you in the right direction.

Q: Which fiber is best, Nylon or Polyester?
A: There are pluses and minuses to both, plus there are dozens of different types of fibers under each of these types like Tactese nylon and Smart strand polyester. We will review each one with you and you can decide which one has the features you want.

Q: Will I see seams?
A: No one can guarantee invisible seams. Some styles of carpet help hide seams better than others and your installer will discuss seam placement with you.

Q: Will my old carpet go to a landfill?
A: We are proud to say a resounding NO. Our organization has made a commitment to the environment and is one of a very few dealers in the bay area that participates in a carpet recycling program. We would be proud to show you how your old carpet is recycled, just ask.
